How do Forces of Nature & Environment
Impact our Local Habitats?
Written By Alejandro
My name is Alejandro and I am a second grader at HTe North County. My class went to clean up Carlsbad Beach and noticed lots of trash! We decided to create a project about our dilemma. The essential question for our project was, "How do forces of nature and environment our local habitats?" We learned how trash and pollution impact the animals that live in our local habitats.
Please read my research below to learn more about our project and how you can help protect our local habitats.
A Sea Turtle Got Trapped
Written By Alejandro S.
Once upon a time a sea turtle smelled fish in the ocean. He was swimming in the ocean looking for food. He was swimming with other sea turtles. Sea turtles love to eat jellyfish. The sea turtles spotted a group of jellyfish floating in the water.
All of sudden, the sea turtle got trapped by a fishing net. A person on a Boat fishing dropped the fishing net into the water by accident when he was fishing for fish. The sea turtle tried to swim away.
Then the other sea turtles saw this happen. They wanted to save the sea turtle. They began to snap, snap, snap and snap. The net ripped and the sea turtle said, “Thank you for saving my life.” The sea turtles swam away from the net.
Special thanks to:
