How do members in our community show care and perseverance?

 

​​This three month long project focuses on our community; specifically how we can learn from members in our community and how we can contribute back to it. We will be interviewing community members throughout San Marcos and learning about ways they show care and perseverance in their everyday activities. We will highlight them through written biographies and illustrate them through beautiful artwork. 

 

Throughout the project, students will engage in service learning opportunities in the community to support and give back to others. 

 

The project will culminate with a finalized book dedicated to heroes in our community and a final service learning event dedicated with student passion and interest.
