How do Forces of Nature & Environment
Impact our Local Habitats?
Written By Emma
My name is Emma and I am a second grader at HTe North County. My class went to clean up Carlsbad Beach and noticed lots of trash! We decided to create a project about our dilemma. The essential question for our project was, "How do forces of nature and environment our local habitats?" We learned how trash and pollution impact the animals that live in our local habitats.
Please read my research below to learn more about our project and how you can help protect our local habitats.
Cyrus and Jack's Journey Written by Emma
Once there was a manatee named Cyrus, and his best friend Jack the clown fish. They went on a journey to find mom and dad. But, when they were on their way they found a swirly pool! They were in trouble! But suddenly a big blue whale came to help them.
Cyrus and Jack said “Thank you” . Then a huge pile of trash floated by and it was called the great pile of trash. They thought for a moment, should we go in the trash or not?
Then they saw their dad and mom! The mom and dad pushed the trash away with their fins. The dad ,mom,Cyrus and Jack swam farther away from the trash into a cleaner ocean. They lived happily ever after.
