How do Forces of Nature & Environment
Impact our Local Habitats?
Written By Grant
My name is Grant and I am a second grader at HTe North County. My class went to clean up Carlsbad Beach and noticed lots of trash! We decided to create a project about our dilemma. The essential question for our project was, "How do forces of nature and environment our local habitats?" We learned how trash and pollution impact the animals that live in our local habitats.
Please read my research below to learn more about our project and how you can help protect our local habitats.
Harbor Seal Pup
Written by Grant
Once upon a time there was baby a harbor seal pup swimming in the ocean. He left to see the world and he saw a old drain that leads to the beach. The storm drain had a lot of trash in it. He quickly went back to the ocean.
A beach cleaner saw the pup surrounded by a lot of trash.A guy found a bunch of friends and asked them to help him clean. The friends saw the pup having a hard time swimming.
The cleaners had trash bags to clean up the beach. Then they hurried to rescue the seal pup. they cleaned up all of the trash from the water. All of the people rescued the seal pup and he lived happily ever after. The end.
